Once upon a time, there was a shiny, cheerful train named Rudy the Little Red Engine. Rudy lived in sunny Los Angeles, and he had a very important job—delivering a big cargo full of fruits, vegetables, and toys all the way across the country to New York City!
With a happy toot-toot! Rudy set off on his grand adventure.
🚂 Stop #1: Denver, Colorado As Rudy chugged up the tall mountains, he arrived in the mile-high city of Denver. There, he met a bright blue train named Benny the Blue Blaster.
"Welcome to Denver!" Benny said with a smile. "Did you know we're called the Mile-High City because we're exactly one mile above sea level?"
"Wow!" Rudy said. "That's really high up!"
Benny helped Rudy refill his water tank and gave him a juicy Colorado peach for the ride. Then off Rudy went again, winding through green hills and snowy peaks.
🚂 Stop #2: Kansas City, Missouri Next, Rudy arrived in Kansas City, where the air smelled like delicious barbecue. There he met a yellow train with shiny wheels named Sunny the Speedster.
"Hiya Rudy!" Sunny beeped. "Kansas City is famous for its music and yummy barbecue!"
