Mom and the Puppy

Lilly loved dogs. Woof! Ruff! Bark! Everywhere they went, Lilly wanted to hug or pet them.

At the park, at the store, even on the street, she would point and say, “Doggy!” Mom smiled, but she taught Lilly something important. “Before you pet a dog, you must ask the dog’s parent,” Mom said. “Not all dogs like to be touched.”
